MMFF 2018 to kick off with Parade of Stars

MANILA, Philippines — The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2018 is set to kick off on Sunday, Dec. 23, at 1 p.m. with the annual Parade of Stars.
The “Magic 8” entries will show off their creativity through their festival floats to show a glimpse of what the moviegoers can expect on Christmas Day.
The parade will start at Shopwise in Sucat, pass through Dr. A. Santos Avenue, turn left on V. Medina Avenue (Kabihasnan), turn right on Quirino Avenue, turn left on Naia Road, turn right on Macapagal Boulevard’s eastbound lanes, and end on Bradco Avenue.
Here is the sequence of floats in the parade:
- Fantastica (Star Cinema and Viva Films)
- OTLUM (Horsehoe Productions)
- Aurora (Viva Films)
- Rainbow’s Sunset (Likhang Silang Entertainment)
- Mary, Marry Me (Ten17 Inc)
- The Girl In The Orange Dress (Quantum and MJM Films)
- Jack Em Popoy (MZet, APT, and CCM Productions)
- One Great Love (Regal Films)
The eight competing movies in the MMFF will run from December 25 until January 7, 2019.
