Kisses Delavin thankful to work with other Kapamilya actors

MANILA, Philippines — Former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate and actress Kisses Delavin expressed thanks to her fellow Kapamilya actors for making her first Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry “worthwhile.”

In an Instagram post on Saturday, the 19-year-old actress shared a photo from a photoshoot with other actors who comprise three of the biggest Kapamilya love teams: Delavin and Donny Pangilinan for “DonKiss,” Maymay Entrata and Edward Barbers for “MayWard,” and Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte for “LoiNie.”

“One of the reasons why my first time being part of a Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry became worthwhile was because of these five bright, hard working people with me,” Delavin wrote.

“Indeed, ‘Joy shared is joy doubled.’ The shared laughters in between takes were moments to remember, and for that I’m thankful,” she added.

The teen actress also said that while rivalry is constant in show business, a question of point is “who will ever win in this age of limitless competition?”

“In the end, time will tell,” she said. “It will make us realize that the friendships that stood strong through time, the good memories we can cherish, the people we have inspired & the lives we have touched are what counts the most.”

Delavin ended her post by thanking the “Unkaboggable” Vice Ganda and Star Cinema: “Thank you @praybeytbenjamin for making me part of your film “Fantastica”, and to every person on the @starcinema set whom I worked with!”

The three love teams will star in MMFF entry “Fantastica” with Vice Ganda, Dingdong Dantes and Richard Gutierrez. The film will premiere on Christmas Day alongside other MMFF entries. /je
