Love is still sweet for actress Maricel Laxa and husband, motivational speaker Anthony Pangilinan.
The couple renewed their vows in celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary on Thursday. The ceremony was held at a hotel room in Edsa Shangri-la, Manila in Mandaluyong City.
The couple’s sons, Donny and Benjamin, walked their mom down the aisle as the same song from the couple’s wedding 25 years ago was played. Likewise, the same priest who married them officiated in the couple’s marriage vow renewal.
“I am so blessed to call them my parents,” Donny said about his parents in an Instagram post. “Thank you mom and dad for being the foundation of our family. I would not have it any other way.”

Benjamin, too, thanked his parents for “being the greatest role models, and being a true example on true love, with God leading the way through it all.”
Meanwhile, eldest daughter Ella shared a happy family snap wherein her parents share a kiss while she and her four other siblings jokingly look disgusted.

Anthony shared a photo of him reenacting kissing the bride. “Di pa rin ako sanay, ninenerbyos pa rin (I’m still not used to it, I still get nervous). Maybe that’s the key,” he mused.
