After much struggle to lose added weight after giving birth, Rufa Mae Quinto’s efforts have finally paid off.

The comedienne was proud to flaunt her “award-winning” body, showing off her curves while wearing a black bikini, as seen in her Instagram post Sunday.

“Konting kembot lang guysh! (Just a little push, guys!),” Quinto comically said. And if there was someone she would like to dedicate her achievement to, she had one person in mind—herself.

Quinto said that she is getting her sexy figure back because she is now starting to take care of herself.  “Ang tagal ko naging insecurity ang postpartum body ko,” she expressed. “As in pag ka panganak ko araw araw (mga ika 7 month after ko manganak…. every time I look myself in the mirror naiiyak ako, na sad.”

(My longest insecurity was my postpartum body. On to my seventh month after giving birth, I would cry every time I look at the mirror.)

She even teased about her next vlog: her 2019 New Year’s resolution in which she will reveal her beauty secret.

Previously, she looked back on how she appeared while pregnant with daughter Athena, during which she gained 85 pounds. “I really enjoyed my pregnancy and I let go talaga para maging healthy anak ko (just for my child to be healthy),” Quinto said at the time.  /ra
