Jack White’s band the Raconteurs is back with two new songs recorded in preparation for a forthcoming album, a first since 2008’s “Consolers of the Lonely”.
Called “Sunday Driver” and “Now That You’re Gone”, the two tracks will appear together on a 7″ single being distributed via White’s Third Man Records Vault Series along with a 10th-anniversary reissue of the band’s 2008 album.
The new songs are the first new music from Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler’s band in more than a decade, when that album was released.
Both were recorded during the recording sessions for the band’s upcoming reunion LP, which is slated for release in 2019. JB
