Before their big day, actress Iza Calzado and businessman Ben Wintle welcomed guests to Coron, Palawan with a night of festivities yesterday, Dec. 18.

The pre-wedding party was held in the exclusive island resort Club Paradise. Colorful barrio fiesta decor decked the outdoor venue with styling by Teddy Manuel. Buntings were strung across trees while large tropical leaves and flowers in purple hues adorned the guests’ tables.

The bride and groom celebrated Filipino culture too in their attire: Calzado’s beautifully tanned skin stood out in an electric blue terno by Rajo Laurel while her dashing fiance pulled off a blue barong with white shorts.

Young performers entertained guests with traditional folk dance while Calzado and Wintle took part too in the popular folk dance tinikling.

Calzado changed into a red dress with ruffles to dance the night away to retro hits from artists such as ABBA and Whitney Houston.
