It appears that Kanye West is bent on meeting up with a legend in the music industry — no less than the enigmatic Bob Dylan.

The rapper called out the Grammy Award-winner and Nobel Prize laureate in a Twitter post made today, Dec. 13.

West had a simple request to Dylan, saying: “Calling out to Bob Dylan Let’s get together.” While he kept his request short, his post garnered almost 7,800 retweets and 56,000 likes, as of writing.

Meanwhile, netizens did not hold back from speaking their about what the controversial rapper said. Twitter user Dallas’ assistant (@Meaghan_Morris) told West, “Dude you’re really trying to reach out to bob dylan on Twitter?”; this points out the fact that Dylan does not have a personal social media account.

Meanwhile, one charles (@hiiiiiiiiiiiichu) thinks that a future collaboration between West and Dylan “would be the worst song I’d ever hear.”

Another netizen, Nina (@nina9millimeter) shared a photo of what Dylan’s expression might be should he and West get together in the studio.

West previously collaborated with another music legend, Paul McCartney. He, McCartney and Rihanna released the single “FourFiveSeconds” in 2015. JB
