MANILA, Philippines — Kim Chiu couldn’t help but cry as she shared how a fan-turned-friend shows her loyalty and support to the actress everywhere she goes.
“Alam niyo, si Ate Juliet ang laging may dalang light board everywhere I go. Nag ASAP pa yan, nag mall show pa, tapos nag-PBB,” Chiu said during the episode of “Magandang Buhay” on Tuesday.
Aside from raising a banner for Chiu in her events, the actress said Juliet also defends her from bashers, saying “Si Ate Juliet, isa siya sa mga nakikipaglaban para sa akin.”
Chiu burst into tears as she thanked Juliet for her support since she won the first “Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition” in 2006.
“Natutuwa lang ako. For so many years, may magtaas pa rin ng banner para sayo,” a teary Chiu said.
The 28-year-old actress expressed how grateful she was for making her feel she still has “solid supporters” more than a decade after her success in the reality TV show.
She added: “Kahit nasaan ako, kahit ano ginagawa ko, pinaparamdam nila sa akin na nandiyan sila.”
Chiu also felt lucky because fans still support her though she doesn’t really give them anything in return.
“Suwerte ako, na wala naman akong ginagawa sa kanila, wala naman akong binibigay na kahit na ano, so sobrang I’m so lucky,” she said.
