MANILA, Philippines — Actress Ai-ai Delas Alas and husband Gerald Sibayan exchanged affectionate words as they celebrate their first wedding anniversary on Tuesday, Dec. 11.
Sharing throwback photos from their wedding day in an Instagram post, Delas Alas wrote: “Salamat sa pagbibigay mo ng iyong buong sarili sa akin para makapiling ako habang buhay.”
The actress said she prays to have longer life to spend more time with her husband: “Dasal ko sa ating panginoon na bigyan nya ako ng mahabang buhay para matagal pa kitang makasama.”
Delas Alas also expressed joy to finally be able to experience celebrating a wedding anniversary: “Mahal na mahal kita aking mabait na asawa. Salamat din at nakaranas ako ng wedding anniversary.”
Meanwhile, Sibayan shared a snapshot with his wife on the altar during their wedding ceremony via Instagram.
“If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you,” he wrote
The couple tied the knot at the Christ the King Parish in Quezon City in 2017 after four years of dating.
