Former child star Kiray Celis revealed she got scammed by a producer, who allegedly did not show up for a show she was set to perform in, in Mintal, Davao.

Celis expressed via an Instagram post on Sunday that she was so stressed because of the show’s producer. She said she arrived in the area and stayed at a resort, but the producer and his team apparently did not show up.

“Di po sila tumupad sa usapan. Sobrang bastos nila (They were not true to their words, they are really rude),” Celis said. She named the producer, Ronald A. Brigoli, aka Aldong, who she alleged did not even pay the event host.

Celis also revealed that she was not the only one who got scammed, but also other artists and those who bought tickets to attend the event. “Wow, si Lord na ang bahala sa’yo,” she told the producer in another post.

Not letting things get to her, she still thanked her fans for coming to see her despite the show being canceled. “Hindi man ako nakapag-perform para sa inyo, pero bumawi ako at nag-parade para sa inyo (I may not have performed for you, but I bounced back and did the parade for you),” she said.

The Facebook page of Barangay Mintal, where Celis was supposed to attend a show held on Saturday, released a statement saying they had nothing to do with the event.

The producer has not released a statement about the allegations made against him, as of this writing.  /ra
