To find that “one great love”… don’t we all wish for that to happen for us at least once in our lives.

“One Great Love” is the latest offering from Regal Entertainment, Inc. which stars Dennis Trillo, JC De Vera, Kim Chiu, Miles Ocampo, Nina Dolino and Marlo Mortel. “One Great Love” is also the official entry of Regal Entertainment, Inc. for this year’s MMFF (Metro Manila Film Festival).

I can say that this is a movie about being at the crossroads of your life. How you go through a number of relationships that have failed for one reason or another even though you tried your very best to make each relationship work out. And how you can’t help looking back, reminiscing, wondering what could have been with that person had it worked out?

FEATURED STORIES

To be in love is something that everyone can relate to; it is not an entirely unique exclusive experience to any one person. That is why the premise for “One Great Love” is a timeless plot on its own.

Truly, love is universal. It is spoken, professed, and expressed in all languages. It is what makes us also human in a time when it might be better sometimes to become jaded, cynical, and negative–overcome and overwhelmed often as we are–with everything that is happening around us at a staggering rate.

No doubt Dennis Trillo, Kim Chiu, and JC De Vera will be able to live up to their lead characters roles. After all, they are tried and tested veteran actors of Philippine Cinema who all have a loyal following and have proven to be capable, bankable, and respected actors in the local entertainment industry.

Now, here are my questions for the main cast of “One Great Love”.

1) When you hear the word love who is the first person you think of ? How do you express your love for that person ?

Medyo may pagka Mommy’s Boy kasi ako.

I want to give them a good life. I want to provide for them.

My mommy and my daughter. Yan kasi, pagdating diyan talaga sa pagmamahal para sa pamilya I can risk it all for them.

GF or BF, at the end of the day, pamilya mo pa rin ang kukuhanan mo ng love na hinahanap mo.

Marlo Mortel: Same din. Especially if you have become very close to them. They gave everything to me and ang goal ko in life is to give everything back and even give more. My family.

2) What do you want moviegoers to carry in their hearts as they are leaving the cinema ?

Director Enrico S. Quizon: After they leave the cinema house, they will have a better definition of what love is. And, how they interpret love.

At the end of this movie, malalaman nila kung meron talagang isang one great love or one true love. And, based on our story, at lalo na sa character ko, if you commit mistakes you make up for every mistake you make.

And, after watching this film siguro malalaman nila… parang choice nila. You have to accept the love and at the same time mabigay natin ang love na gusto natin.

Marlo Mortel: Of course, watching the movie. Gusto ko sa mga tao manonood na huwag matakot to fight for the people they love kasi baka pagsisihan nila sa huli. So, importante fight for the people they love.
