Ice Seguerra poured his emotions toward wife Liza Diño to mark their fourth wedding anniversary.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Dec. 8, Seguerra started off by saying that being with Diño made him appreciate the finer things in life, such as wearing a suit and tie, and fine dining restaurants.
The singer also credited his wife for changing him for the better by inspiring him to become kinder and more patient, and to also work on his outer appearance.
“Dahil sa iyo, mas natuto akong pumorma, mag-ayos ng sarili, at magpapogi (ang ganda mo kasi kaya dapat maglevel up ako),” he said.
(Because of you, I learned to dress up, to fix myself, to look good. You’re so beautiful that I need to level up.)
He said too that Diño helped him realize his worth, and that he no longer feels alone.
“Dahil sa iyo, narealize ko yung worth ko bilang individual at bilang karelasyon. Nagkaroon ako ng boses at nirespeto mo yun,” he said.
(Because of you, I realized my worth as an individual and as a significant other. I gained a voice and you respected it.)
“Dahil sa yo, hindi na ako iiyak mag-isa at lagi na akong may kasamang tumawa.”
(Because of you, I no longer cry alone and I always have someone to laugh with.)
Diño for her part shared funny pictures of the two yesterday on Instagram, Dec. 9.
“Dahil sa ‘yo… I learned not to take myself too seriously,” she wrote. “I learned how to laugh at myself.”
“I became comfortable in my own skin because you make me feel so beautiful each and every time,” she said.
The couple married on Dec. 8, 2014 in California where same-sex marriage was first legalized in 2008. They also married in the Philippines, in a ceremony held in Batangas which was considered a symbolic ceremony to celebrate their union with family.
