MANILA, Philippines — World-renowned K-pop boy group BTS has another addition to their long list of achievements in 2018.
The seven-member group was named as Spotify’s most streamed K-pop artist worldwide and in the Philippines this year, according to the streaming platform’s data.
BTS is also the second most streamed group globally following American rock band Imagine Dragons.
Meanwhile, their song “FAKE LOVE” from album “Love Yourself: Tear” is the top K-pop song on the platform amassing over 175 million streams.
Following BTS in the most streamed K-pop artist globally are BLACKPINK, EXO, TWICE and Red Velvet.
SEVENTEEN, BIGBANG, iKON, GOT7 and MONSTA X rounded out the Top 10 of the list.
BTS, the first Korean act to top the Billboard 200 chart, currently has over 11 million monthly listeners on the streaming platform.
