Actress Bangs Garcia remembered that “blissful day” when she gave birth to daughter Amelia, who celebrated her first birthday on Dec. 5 in the United Kingdom (Dec. 6 in Manila).
“My dear Amelia, you have turned 1 year old today; the day I first felt the unutterable joy of becoming a mother,” Garcia stated on her Instagram post. “I would love to relive that exact moment when I shed tears of happiness as I heard your first cry, saw you and held you in my arms on that blissful day over and over again.”
She added that she and husband Lloyd Birchmore are grateful to have a “wonderful daughter,” and wish that she will have a life “filled with love, happiness [and] success.”
“No words can describe how much you mean to us, there’s nothing that could lessen our love for you as you have it now and for all eternity,” she gushed. “[N]o matter how old you might be, you will always be our sweet little cherub.”
Amelia is the first child of Garcia and Birchmore, whom they welcomed in London. She has been open about her journey of being a mother, sharing to fans about her breastfeeding struggles to getting back in shape after undergoing caesarean section. JB
