Kris Aquino extols Sen. Kiko Pangilinan as man of ‘integrity, dignity’

If there is a family Queen of All Media Kris Aquino looks up to, it would be Senator Kiko Pangilinan’s and Sharon Cuneta’s tight kin. Aquino recently expressed her admiration for the senator when the latter took to social media and shared a snap of their family during their annual Christmas photo shoot.
Pangilinan shared the photo on Nov. 26 and showed him, Cuneta, and children KC Concepcion, Frankie, Miel, Miguel and their three dogs smiling wide while posing on the couch.
“Annual Christmas family photo shoot,” shared Pangilinan. “Basta buo ang pamilya, masaya ang Pasko! Abangan!”

Aquino could not help but take to the comments section to express her admiration for him. As per Aquino, she looks up to him because of his integrity and his being a great father.
“You do know how much I look up to you because of your integrity and because you have raised exceptional children,” Aquino said. “And regardless of all the insults thrown your way, you have conducted yourself with dignity.”
She added, “You and Ate S are very special to me. God bless your family always.”
Pangilinan, on his end, was palpably moved and expressed his gratitude to Aquino. “@krisaquino thank you so much for the kind words. It is much appreciated.”
He also had some words of wisdom to share to Aquino, telling her that they would be no different if they fought the same way as those who maltreat and insult them.
“We would have become no different from those who maltreat us, insult or threaten us if we respond in the same way,” he told her. “Fighting fire with fire will only burn the house down and everyone in it. I hope you are feeling much better now.”
It is known that Aquino recently filed a criminal complaint against lawyer Jesus Falcis, the brother of her former project manager Nicardo Falcis II, for violation of Republic Act 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, or cyberlibel. The complaint came in light of Jesus’ several posts on social media in defense of his brother, in which he called Aquino a “liar,” “spoiled oligarch brat,” and “pa-victim,” among others. /ra
