Anything goes in ‘POPSibilities’

Pops Fernandez is celebrating her nth debut on Dec 12. To make the Concert Queen’s fête extra special, she requested her close friends (divided into groups) to do a dance or song number.

The theme of the performance is “anything that reminds you about Pops.” Since I happen to be one of her friends from way back (long before her “Penthouse Live” days), I feel pressured because as I told Pipay (her nickname), “Girl, I’m a writer, not a performer.”

As she turns another year fiercer, Pops launches her online show, “POPSibilities.”

“We will post every week or every other week,” she says. “No concept and no script … that’s why its ‘pops-sibilities’—anything is ‘pops-sible.’”
Aside from that, she also has an international TV project in the works. This birthday girl is on fire!

Good idea

Since I was an avid viewer of ABS-CBN’s defunct hit series, “A Love to Last,” I told Ian Veneracion that I wish it would have a sequel wherein his character (Anton) already has kids with his second wife, Andeng (Bea Alonzo). Ian liked my idea. Hopefully, the Kapamilya network will be keen on it, too.
