Nadine Lustre, Sam Concepcion to star in ‘dance-heavy’ film ‘Indak’

Nadine Lustre and Sam Concepcion are about to get their dancing shoes on for their next movie, “Indak”.

Viva Films had a story conference on Monday, Nov. 19, for the planned film, to be starred in by Lustre and Concepcion. The event was documented and later released on the Viva Entertainment YouTube page.

The film’s director, Paul Basinillo, promised that “Indak” will not be like any other dance movie, for it will also focus on the characters in the story.

“I don’t want to preempt. There’s a relationship, of course. Because this movie is your not just typical dance movie, it’s a journey between the personalities also,” Basinillo said.

Basinillo also noted that most of the dance numbers for the film will be choreographed by the group G Force.

“Well, the theme of the movie is very different and I think maha-highlight dito is ‘yung (what will be highlighted here is the) dancing… It’s going to be heavy dancing,” Concepcion noted.

This will be the first time Lustre and Concepcion will work together in a film. Lustre also has an upcoming film, “Ulan”, with Carlo Aquino and directed by Irene Villamor.
