Husband of singer-actress Lindsay Custodio dies of heart attack

The husband of actress-singer Lindsay Custodio and former Tanauan, Batangas, Vice Mayor Julius Caesar Platon II died on Monday after reportedly suffering from a heart attack. He was 43.

The news of his death was confirmed by his son, Sean, in a post on Platon’s Facebook account.

“To our dearest family and friends, it is with a heavy heart that we inform you all of the sudden and untimely passing of our beloved Julius,” Sean said.

“He was a blessing and inspiration to us all. He will be greatly missed and will forever remain in our hearts,” he added.

Platon’s wake will begin on Tuesday at the Heritage Memorial Chapel in Taguig City. His interment will be on Saturday, Nov. 24.

Custodio and Platon tied the knot in December 2000. They were blessed with two children, Sean Christopher and Charisse.

The actress appeared in several television shows and movies and was a recording artist of Star Music. /cbb
