Julia Barretto opposed to Joshua Garcia being PBB guest housemate: ‘I’ll miss him’
Julia Barretto was against the idea of boyfriend Joshua Garcia going back inside the “Pinoy Big Brother” house as a guest housemate because they would be totally cut off and she’d miss him too much.
The actress shared her opinion while attending Garcia’s 21st birthday party, which was organized by the actor’s fan group, Tropang Joshua. Barretto coyly said in an interview with Push that the lack of communication from within the PBB house would be difficult to bear.
“No, I’ll miss him. No, he’ll be there for so long. Kasi pag other country, puwede pang mag Facetime, puwede pang mag video call, pero pag yon, wala zero. No,” said Barretto.
(No, I’ll miss him. No, he’ll be there for so long. It’s different if he’s just in other countries because you can do Facetime, you can do video call, but in there, nothing zero. No.)
On the other hand, as a former housemate, Garcia had no problems going back in as a guest housemate.
The actor just celebrated his birthday just three days ago on Nov. 4 at the Fernwood Gardens events place in Quezon City. The event was fully organized by Tropang Joshua. Barretto and Garcia said they didn’t do anything as far as organizing was concerned.
Barretto felt happy for Garcia when she first heard about the celebration. “I feel like if it’s a fan project, a passion project of the fans, I think it’s something that they want to do for Joshua.”
She added, “So siyempre pag ganyan, you respect their own projects, na let them be the ones involved in everything, since it’s their token of appreciation, it’s their way to show Joshua their love for him.” Alfred Bayle /ra
