“Glorious” top-billed by Angel Aquino and Tony Labrusca was gloriously received by many netizens with their lusty scenes in a trailer released on Sunday.
The upcoming project by Dreamscape Entertainment follows the story of a woman in her 50s and a man in his 20s falling in love and getting stuck ion whether their relationship is socially acceptable.
“Glorious,” directed by Connie S. Macatuno, is set to stream on ABS-CBN’s upcoming online streaming service iWant this November.
Netizens have been talking about the trailer since it was released, giving praises to the Angel-Tony team-up and even trending #GloriousOfficialTrailer, “Angel Aquino” and “Tony Labrusca” on Twitter.
Even volleyball player and television host Gretchen Ho was impressed by the performance of the actors in the trailer as seen in a tweet on Sunday, saying “Love how Tony Labrusca is going on his own, unconventional path. Meanwhile, Angel Aquino is ageless. Powerful.”

Meanwhile, Lea Salonga declared it’s the “sexiest movie trailer” she has seen in a long time via Facebook post on Sunday.
“But, beyond the love scenes its protagonists do, allow it to begin a conversation about seeing older women and younger men on screen. Given how utterly beautiful both Angel Aquino and Tony Labrusca are, I am all for it, and wish for their movie Glorious to be a massive hit,” she wrote.
