LOOK: Berks’ throwback photo excites fans
A blast from the past excited “Berks” fans as the cast of the popular television series recreated a photo 14 years after the show ended.
“Berks” or slang for “ka-barkada” “ka-tropa” or friend is a youth-oriented show produced by ABS-CBN which first aired in 2002. Its last episode aired in 2004.
The show featured Heart Evangelista, Camille Prats, Angelica Panganiban, John Prats, Carlo Aquino, Glaiza de Castro, Sarah Christophers, and Ketchup Eusebio, to name a few.
In an Instagram post by Sarah Christopers, a photo showing five of the series’ cast members — Ketchup Eusebio, Carlo Aquino, Angelica Panganiban, Sarah Christophers, and Glaiza de Castro — recreated a similar photo from their “Berks” days.
Christoper captioned the photo with: Blast from the past ❤️

The more recent photo was taken during their trip to Japan with a couple of their friends to celebrate Halloween.

Fans, of course, were quick to express their joy and excitement over the “reunion” of the television show’s casts.
Some netizens also commended on the tight friendship the cast members were able to maintain throughout the years.
One netizen, laura l. espinosa (laura0421), wrote: Great that you guys were able to keep the friendship! Cheers to everyone!
Meanwhile, some fans are even hopeful for a reunion project.
