LOOK: Jodi Sta. Maria, son Thirdy fly to Egypt
Actress Jodi Sta. Maria and son Thirdy recently flew to Egypt where they explored its ancient past — a breathtaking trip that most of Sta. Maria’s fans could only live vicariously from.
Sta. Maria took to Instagram on Oct. 31 in which she shared a stunning photo of the Great Pyramid of Giza along with some food for thought.
“Just like the Great Pyramids, this journey to the past teaches us that great things take time,” Sta. Maria wrote. “So be patient and remember the importance of having a strong foundation.”

Thirdy may be stepping into his teenage years when he celebrates his 13th birthday this December, but a mother knows that her love for her child is forever—no matter how old they get.

Of course, Sta. Maria channeled her inner photographer as she shared a picture of her taking photos while at the Temple of Edfu in Edfu, Upper Egypt.
Sta. Maria was wearing a long, flowing turquoise kaftan and strappy sandals as she sat by the steps of the temple.
“We take photos as a return ticket to a memory otherwise gone,” she said. “Enjoying every moment here in #Egypt!”
