LOOK: Kim Chiu visits mom’s tomb in Cebu

Actress and “Pinoy Big Brother” winner Kim Chiu visited on Thursday her late mother Louella Chiu-Yap at the Cebu Memorial Park.

Chiu narrated in an Instagram post how a moth was inside her mom’s place since the night before: “Since last night while we were preparing for today the moth was here inside mamas place,, i know it was her.”

“When we arrived here today she’s still there same place, stayed for a while and she finally left,” she added.

The 28-year-old actress also wrote a short, but touching message: “Your love ones may leave physically, but in our hearts and spirit they are still with us!!! thank you mama, love you so much!!!”

Chiu’s mother succumbed from brain aneurysm in 2013 at the age of 50.

She was estranged from her since she was nine years old after her parents separated. Chiu and her siblings grew up in the care of their paternal grandmother.

According to previous reports, Chiu’s father William Chiu Jr. said his ex-wife opted not to inform their children of how she was doing despite suffering from an illness. /jpv
