Canadian pop star Michael Bublé got candid on one topic he admits is hard for him to talk about: his son’s cancer battle.

“It’s so hard to acknowledge it because it’s so hard to talk about,” the crooner told talk show host James Corden in the segment “Carpool Karaoke” for “The Late Late Show with James Corden”, which aired Friday, Oct. 26. Bublé’s eldest son, Noah, is currently battling liver cancer.

“My whole life ended,” Bublé said when he and his family got word of Noah’s cancer diagnosis. At the time, his son was 3 years old.

“It’s too hard to talk about, man,” he said while fighting back tears. “Basically they said it wasn’t great and so we just took it day by day.”

Because of the boy’s diagnosis, he revealed that members of his and his wife’s family moved so they can be closer together.

As he shared his son’s love for superheroes such as Spiderman, Bublé told Corden what he would say to Noah: “I always say to him ‘Spiderman’s amazing,’ ‘Superman’s amazing,’ but they’re fake. They’re not real — you’re my hero, my real superhero.”

Bublé is married to Argentinian model-actress Luisana Lopilato. They have two more children named Elias and Vida. JB
