Paolo Contis admits not talking to daughters yet about their baby sister

As Paolo Contis and LJ Reyes are expecting a baby girl, some cannot help but wonder how his daughters with ex-wife Lian Paz could possibly feel about it.
Contis admitted that he has not talked to his two girls about their soon-to-be sister, this he shared with reporters in a press conference for his new movie “Through Night and Day”. The interview was posted by entertainment reporter Allan Diones on Youtube Tuesday, Oct. 30.
“To be honest, I haven’t talked to them personally,” Contis admitted. He added that he is “hoping” he could see them soon. “Lahat naman ‘yan (All of that will come), in time. In God’s time, magiging maayos ‘yan (it will work out),” he remarked.
Meanwhile, how is Reyes’ son Aki taking the arrival of his sister? Contis answered, “Nako! Sobra! Lagi niyang kinakausap ‘yun!” (He’s very excited. He always talks to the baby!)
But while Aki previously said that he wanted a baby brother, does Contis feel the same way too? “To be honest, napakaganda ang [baby] girl,” he said. “Ako gusto ko ng girl, napaka-sweet nila.”
(To be honest, having a baby girl is beautiful. I want a girl, they’re very sweet.)
Contis also revealed that he and Reyes attended “newborn class” weeks ago. “Iba na eh! Ang layo ng gamit ng mga babies!” he said. (It’s different now! Babies’ things are so different, compared with before!)
He added that Reyes too is nervous of having a baby once again. “Alam ko pa ba? Marunong pa ba ako? (Do I still know how? Can I still do it?),” Reyes once asked Contis. Nevertheless, their love for their child makes him believe that they can do it. Katrina Hallare/JB
