The recent tiff that has befallen siblings Makati City Mayor Abby Binay and younger brother former Makati Mayor Junjun Binay has been much documented. It’s known that Junjun filed his certificate of candidacy for Makati mayor, challenging sister Abby in the process as they go head to head in the 2019 elections.

Abby initially appealed emotionally to her brother to give his “ate” a chance to continue her plans for Makati, but eventually filed her COC last Oct. 17 to run against him.

This matter surrounding the Binay family has become a subject of interest for some—and for veteran talent manager and columnist Lolit Solis, it’s nothing short of “bongga.”

“Abby Binay vs Junjun Binay, bongga. Kahit sino iboto mo Binay pa rin,” wrote Solis on her Instagram account yesterday, Oct. 22, in which she shared a photo of Abby.

Solis only had praises for the Binay family, especially former Vice President  Jejomar “Jojo” Binay—father of Abby and Junjun—who Solis said was very close to the hearts of celebrities.

Solis also said that she couldn’t imagine Makati city without the Binay family.

For her, it doesn’t seem to matter who wins, finding conciliation in the fact that Abby and Junjun are both Binays still: “Sinuman manalo, Abby o Junjun, Binay pa rin.”

She, however, showed a bit of partiality toward Abby, citing that a woman’s touch is still different from a man’s.

/ra
