Kapamilya stars brought to Instagram their excitement over Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez signing of contract with ABS-CBN on Wednesday.
Among them is pop-rock singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino who shared a throwback photo of her duet with the Songbird.
“Ang idolo naming lahat Queen @reginevalcasid. Welcome po!” she wrote in the caption.
Comedienne Pokwang, meanwhile, recounted one of her precious moments with Velasquez eight years ago.
“8 years ago nang mag concert ako sa aliw theater ng tatlong gabi, nalaman mo na may concert ako kaya nag presinta ka na ikaw ang isa sa guest ko,” Pokwang wrote in the caption.
Pokwang felt grateful and revealed Velasquez did not even ask for talent fee when she performed at her concert: “Thank you, thank you queen @reginevalcasid napaka busilak ng puso mo….. kaya napaka saya ko at kapamilya kana rin paaakkkk #welcomehomekapamilyaregine.”
Meanwhile, actress Karla Estrada shared a clip of Velasquez complimenting her son Daniel Padilla as a performer and thanked the Songbird: “Thank you once again ate regine! my forever song bird! God Bless your Good soul. #proudtobekapamilya”
Asia’s Phoenix Morissette Amon similarly posted a clip of Velasquez recognizing her as “one of the best singers in the country.”
“To be recognized this way by one of our idols!!!! sabihin ko na talaga na napakaswerte kong faney haha, eh isa lang po ako sa milyun-milyong nagmamahal ng nag-iisang #AsiasSongbird,” Amon wrote in the caption.
She also shared some snapshots of a performance with Velasquez: “Sana makatrabaho ko rin po kayo ulit.. see you around po, we love you! #WelcomeHomeKapamilyaRegine” /cbb
