ABS-CBN TVplus sales reach over 6M since launch

ABS-CBN said on Wednesday it has sold 6.1 million ABS-CBN TVplus units as of October 10 since its launch in 2015.

In a statement, ABS-CBN cited Kantar Media’s survey conducted in August and found a 71.6% increase of non-cabled homes now enjoying ABS-CBN’s digital terrestrial television (DTT) compared to August 2017’s 55%.

In the same period last year, ABS-CBN TVplus owners in Metro Manila rose to 64.7% from 44%, while those in the suburbs grew to 57% from 33%.

ABS-CBN TVplus continuously expands its signal coverage areas that include Metro Manila, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan, Rizal, Laguna, Pampanga, Tarlac, Benguet, Cavite, Metro Cebu, Cagayan De Oro, Iloilo, Bacolod, and Davao.

More channels are also introduced in Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Metro Cebu, and Cagayan de Oro: Asianovela Channel, the first and only channel on digital free TV that airs uncut Asian dramas and movies and Movie Central, the first all-English movie channel on digital free TV.
