Toni Gonzaga has all the right reasons to show appreciation to her husband, director Paul Soriano, as he turned a year older on Wednesday, Oct. 17.
The actress-television host posted an Instagram photo of Soriano doing double duty: with him being in the director’s seat while he is being a dad to their 2-year-old son, Seve.
“Happy birthday to my #FIRSTLOVE!” Gonzaga greeted her husband. Coincidentally, “First Love” also happens to be the title of Soriano’s new movie, starring Bea Alonzo and Aga Muhlach.
“You made me experience what true and great love really is,” she said, addressing Soriano, who turned 37. “I’m blessed to be your partner in this journey of life!”
“To bigger dreams ahead and many challenges we will overcome together!” she added.
Gonzaga’s friends and followers soon posted their own greetings to the director, such as “Pinoy Big Brother” couple Melisa “Melai” Cantiveros and Jason Francisco. Gonzaga’s friend and fellow television personality Bianca Gonzalez also greeted Soriano a happy birthday.
And it appears it was indeed a good birthday for the director, as the opening of “First Love” coincided with his birthday.
Star Cinema announced that the movie raked in almost P6.4 million on its first day. JB
