Back with ABS-CBN, Regine Velasquez ‘excited’ to perform in ‘ASAP’

Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, who recently became a Kapamilya star, said she would be thrilled to perform on stage in “ASAP,” ABS-CBN’s Sunday show.

Velasquez said she was excited thinking of the possibility of singing with former colleagues Janno Gibbs, Queen of Soul Jaya and Lani Misalucha.

“Pwede kaming gumawa ng production members. I’m excited na nandito si Janno, si Jaya pati si Lani. Every Sunday I will be in ASAP. Nakakatuwa. Kakanta ulit ako on Sunday,” Velasquez said in a press briefing on Wednesday night.

Velasquez added that it was “perfect timing” that she was able to enter a contract with ABS-CBN.

“He [God] will find a way kung mangyayari talaga yan kahit ano pang bagyo now is the perfect time thank you, Lord,” she said.
