Megastar Sharon Cuneta thanked President Rodrigo Duterte for supporting her brother Cesar “Chet” Cuneta’s mayoral bid in Pasay City.

“President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has publicly announced that he is supporting my brother’s candidacy for Mayor of Pasay!” Cuneta wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Oct. 16.

With a snapshot of a portion of a newspaper article, the Megastar said it’s the President who inspired her brother to run for office.

The actress and singer accompanied her brother Chet when he filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) last Friday, Oct. 12.

Chet Cuneta is running under the banner of Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC).
