LOOK: Lovi Poe supports Grace Poe in bid for re-election as senator

Kapuso actress Lovi Poe expressed her support for half-sister Sen. Grace Poe in the latter’s bid for re-election in the upcoming 2019 midterm elections.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Lovi posted a snapshot of the senator with actress Susan Roces after filing her certificate of candidacy (COC) before the Commission of Elections (Comelec) headquarters.

“Senator Grace Poe just filed her certificate of candidacy to continue her service to our countrymen as a Senator in this 2019 elections,” the actress wrote.

“As someone who knows her truthfully, and deeply, I fully support her as a public servant; a woman of dignity, and of selfless service to her countrymen. #TuloyPoe2019,” Lovi added.

Lovi is the daughter of “King of Philippines movies” late Fernando Poe Jr. and former actress and beauty queen Rowena Moran.

Grace Poe is the adopted daughter of FPJ and film veteran Roces. She ran for the presidency in 2016, but lost to Rodrigo Duterte, now the incumbent president. /atm
