Jonalyn Viray bags 6 trophies at 31st Awit Awards
Singer Jonalyn Viray (now known as Jona) won six awards at the recently concluded 31st Awit Awards held at the New Frontier Theater on Sunday, Oct. 14.
Jona posed with her trophies and thanked the award-giving body, her Star Music family, producers, songwriters, family and friends in an Instagram post on Monday.

“I never had any expectations that I’d be taking home even just one award, but Thank You So Much LORD for this unexpected blessing,” she wrote in an Instagram post on Monday.
The awards she bagged were: Most Downloaded Artist, Most Streamed Artist, Most Downloaded Song for “You,” Most Streamed Song for “Pusong Ligaw,” People’s Voice for Favorite Collaboration for “Till the End of time” with BoybandPH and Best Selling Album of the Year for self-titled album “Jona.”
Her collaboration with Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, “Matibay,” also won Best Musical Arrangement award for composer Marvin Querido.

Jona is the first Pinoy Pop superstar winner and was member of trio ‘La Diva’ alongside Maricris Garcia and Aicelle Santos. /cbb
