Although speculations remain unconfirmed that there might be trouble between Cristine Reyes and husband Ali Khatibi, the actress may have just left a clue, thanks to her Instagram account.

The actress has noticeably changed her username, from @mrschristinekhatibi to @cristinereyesss, as of today, Oct. 10.

Based on Reyes’ posts, Khatibi is not shown on any of her photos. Her collection of posts now usually feature herself and their daughter, Amarah. Reyes unfollowed Khatibi on Instagram back in May, as reported by Inquirer Bandera.

The separation rumors started back in January, when she told her fans in a post on the photo-sharing site to pray for her marriage. The post has since been deleted.

Reyes’ sister Ara Mina spoke up about the said post in an interview with Push back in April: “Nag-post lang ata siya ng pray for me, tapos nag haka-haka na sila doon,” (She just posted to ask for prayers, and people already speculated on it.)

“Hindi din kasi ako nagtatanong,” Mina said about whether or not she knows of the state of her sister’s marriage. “…Tsaka pag mga ganyan, buhay nila yun, ayaw ko mag-interfere.”

(I do not ask her about it. And when it comes to that, I do not want to interfere.)

Reyes and Khatibi welcomed Amarah in Februrary 2015. They were married almost a year later in a private ceremony held at the Balesin Island Club. Katrina Hallare/JB
