Maja Salvador wins Best Actress at Urduja Film Festival

Maja Salvador bagged the Best Actress award for the film “I’m Drunk, I Love You” at the 5th Urduja Film Festival 2018.

In an Instagram post on Monday, the actress and dancer shared the news with a caption thanking the award-giving body, “I’m Drunk, I Love You” director JP Habac and film company TBA Studios composed of Tuko Film Productions, Buchi Boy Entertainment and Artikulo Uno Productions.

The actress also gave special mention to co-star Paulo Avelino: “Salamat pinush mo kong gawin at tanggapin ang movie na to.”

Other winners for the same award were Angeli Bayani for “Bagahe” and Joanna Ampil for “Ang Larawan.”

The awarding ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the Sison Auditorium, Lingayen, Pangasinan.

The Urduja Film Festival is an annual event to promote independent Films in Northern Luzon supported by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) and Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB). /muf
