LOOK: Bela Padilla responds to netizens’ Instagram comments on Carlo Aquino

Actress Bela Padilla has replied to netizens who claimed that she was referring to Carlo Aquino in an Instagram post.

“C couldn’t make it to the after party,” Padilla wrote on Instagram as caption for her photo at the ABS-CBN Ball held last  Sept. 29.

Netizens were quick to speculate that the “C” meant  Aquino, leading a certain @sashanacionlyfortin to comment, “Hindi lang pinagtuunan ng pansin yung issue noon kasi nga para hindi masira yung movie na gagawin nila @iamangelicap at @carloholix_official.”

“Girl what are you talking about?” Padilla quickly replied.

Other netizens also claimed that the actress’ post has a “double meaning,” but Padilla insisted that she was only talking about the fallen letter “C” seen at the background of her photo.

Aquino was Padilla’s leading man in their first movie together, ‘Meet Me in St. Gallen.’ He was also her bestfriend Angelica Panganiban’s ex-boyfriend. /ee
