LOOK: Exes meet again at ABS-CBN Ball 2018
Show biz reporters waited excitedly for the celebrities to arrive at the ABS-CBN Ball, staged at the Makati Shangri-La on Saturday, Sept. 29 – not only to take a look at the stunning creations they wore but also to see who came with who and who came solo.
More interesting, controversial exes saw each other again at the ball.
Among them were ex-flames Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano.
Locsin walked the red carpet confidently by herself wearing, while Manzano came with his current lady love, Jessy Mendiola.

Mendiola’s ex-boyfriend JM De Guzman, among the ball’s most sought-after attendees, came in with his rumored girlfriend, Barbie Imperial, who’s his co-star in “Precious Hearts Romances Presents Araw-Gabi.”

As premier Kapamilya stars, Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador are both staples at yearly Kapamilya glam events. So is their common ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson.

On the other hand, Salvador proved that a beauty like her could definitely rock the red carpet solo.

Anderson was obviously happy to grace the ball with his equally stunning rumored girlfriend, drama queen Bea Alonzo.

Another hunk who also came solo was Alonzo’s longtime ex-boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo. Although a lot of “Playhouse” fans hoped he would grace the ball with this co-lead Angelica Panganiban, he walked in by himself.
He said, however, that he was more relaxed now and even joked that things had become easier for him without a a lady date who would have had kilograms worth of gown to worry about.
Ultimate hunk Piolo Pascual has always been an anticipated arrival every year as he always gets his fans curious who he will go with.
Although many have hinted that he will go again this year with Shaina Magdayao, whom he admitted to have dated for over five years, he still went solo and had women all over the online community drooling with his dashing look.

Music superstars Sam Concepcion and Kiana Valenciano were also both present at the ball. But they came in separately.
News of their breakup recently came out when Concepcion himself made an admission. Kiana’s father, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, said, however, that his daughter was doing well despite the breakup.

Anne Curtis-Smith– truly a sight to behold in her stunning gown – arrived with her husband, food blogger Erwan Heussaff.
In past Star Magic Balls, she went with Kapamilya actor Sam Milby, who was then her boyfriend.

Another former love of Anne Curtis was also at the ball – new Kapamilya actor Richard Gutierrez, who came in with his fiancee Sarah Lahbati. The two are now blessed with two kids and are set to get married soon.

Over 500 Kapamilya stars attended the ABS-CBN Ball 2018, which aimed to call attention of the network’s Bantay Bata 163 program and to raise funds for the relaunch of its Children’s Village in Norzagaray, Bulacan.
