Bela Padilla denies dating JM de Guzman, reveals talks of film together

Bela Padilla shot down rumors that she and JM de Guzman are now dating, and explained why they are being seen together often.
It all started when Padilla posted a photo of herself enjoying the beach, with the caption: “The sun’s back today” on her Instagram on Sunday, Sept. 16.

While most netizens admired the photos, one netizen named @hiphip143 could not help but ask Padilla what the real score was between her and De Guzman, as they have been spotted together lately.
In one post on Twitter, @joystabs also took the opportunity to take photos of the actors while they were in a restaurant. S/he even tagged Zanjoe Marudo, who in the past was linked to the actress. “Hay nako @onlyzanjoemarudo wag na tayo umasa kasi alam naman natin walang kwenta yung si zanjoe. Puro pakilig, puro paasa,” the netizen complained.
(Goodness let’s not hope anymore because we all know Zanjoe is useless. He makes us excited; he always makes us hope.)
Padilla noticed the netizen’s comment, which led her to deny the rumors of them dating. She even made a revelation: “No we’re talking about making a film.” The netizen then thanked the actress for her clarification.

But another netizen, @maila.alberto, still expressed the hope that the two would end up together in real life, just like the case of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo.

In the past, Marudo and Padilla sparked dating rumors by teasing each other through their social media posts, but maintained that they were only friends.
Meanwhile, De Guzman has yet to comment on Padilla’s revelation on whether or not they are making a film, as of this writing. /ra
