Daniel Padilla on his relationship with Kathryn Bernardo: ‘Wag na natin kalkalin’
Kapamilya love team Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo have always been open about having special feelings for each other.
However, many fans were still somewhat shocked when the Daniel confirmed that he and Kathryn have been dating for five years now.
During his Wednesday guesting on “Tonight With Boy Abunda,” Daniel explained that he still wants to keep details about their relationship private.
“Nung last time nagpresscon kami para sa isang movie and nasabi ko na yeah, nasa isang relasyon na nga kami ni Kathryn, after how many… five years, di’ba,” he said.
“Sinabi ko na syempre nakakapagod na rin gumawa ng alibi kung ano…” Daniel said. “And I think it’s the perfect time para sabihin. Ang akin lang nung sinabi ko na ‘wag na natin kalkalin. Hayaan na natin, sana minsan, just give a little space.”
In the recent press conference for the movie “The Hows of Us,” Daniel and Kathryn said some scenes in the movie resemble some of the real-life situations they had in the past.
Like other couples, they went through many struggles but still chose to stay with each other.
They also revealed their intention to get married in the future. Daniel said he wants to settle down before he reaches 30 and yes, he sees Kathryn as the one he wants to walk down the aisle with. /vvp
