Barbie Imperial appears to have moved on from her past relationship as she says she has already forgiven her ex-boyfriend.

Masaya ako, sana ikaw din (I’m happy, I hope you are, too),” said the “Araw Gabi” actress during the “Truth or Dare” segment of “Tonight with Boy Abunda” last Monday, Aug. 27. Joining her in the interview was her co-star JM De Guzman.

Imperial did not name the ex-boyfriend she was referring to, but it is known that she was previously in a relationship with Kapuso actor Paul Salas. The two never issued a formal statement about their breakup but both have unfollowed each other on Instagram. Salas also deleted their photos together in his account.

Last July, Imperial posted photos of bruises on some parts of her body, which were later deleted. This led fans to speculate that Salas was physically abusing her.

Aside from Imperial, De Guzman too had a message to say to his ex.

“Hi, hello, good luck,” the actor started off. “I’m really happy for you. I’m proud of you. Thank for being [a] part of my life.”

Although he too did not name the former flame, De Guzman is known to have had a relationship with Jessy Mendiola, who is now with Luis Manzano. Katrina Hallare/JB
