“In the material world, the living entity runs from one place to another in search of success. Sometimes, he begs for food grains from people who aren’t charitable.
Possessions
“Sometimes, he loses all his possessions then laments their loss. Or, he desires a palatial city to live in, but the happiness he derives from it is only temporary. Sometimes, to find enjoyment from sex, he craves for debauched women.
“On the path of material existence, a person sometimes begs from others. When his desires aren’t fulfilled by begging, he’ll turn to borrowing or stealing!
“Due to monetary transactions, relationships become strained and end in enmity. And, due to the ignorance of some political and social heroes, it’s hard for them to take the path of spiritual realization.
Energy
“My dear king, you’re also a victim of external energy, and are attracted to material pleasures. I advise you to give up your attraction to sense objects and focus on your devotion to the Supreme Being. That way, you’ll be able to cross the ocean of material existence!”
