Larry’s passion

WHEN he was in high school, Larry Ballesteros was inspired by the many artists who exhibited their works at his mother’s art gallery at Pistang Pilipino in Malate. Soon, painting became Larry’s passion. So, he enrolled at PWU’s Fine Arts department.

After graduating in 1980, he joined art groups and exhibits.

Thereafter, he worked in Kuwait, where he met his wife, Marjorie. They decided to come home in 1987 and settled at Pacita Complex in San Pedro, Laguna, where the family opened Art Gallery.

In 1995, Larry founded Arte de Laguna, an organization of Laguna artists. To get some exposure in the metropolis, he has consigned 25 paintings in oil at Rm. 329, LRI Design Plaza, 210 Nicanor Garcia st., Bel-Air II, Makati City. Call 896-3208.
