Miriam Quiambao and husband Ardy Roberto are over the moon after finally publicly announcing that Quiambao is pregnant—a “miracle” after the couple has been trying to conceive for four years.
But for Quiambao, the baby in her womb isn’t her first child. That honor goes to Joshua, Roberto’s son from his late first wife.
The former beauty queen and TV host paid tribute to her son in an Instagram post after sharing a sonogram.
“Although he did not come from my womb, my love for him was birthed deep in my heart. So deep that I feel he is my own child. My first son — mine to me,” she wrote.
Joshua, nearly 11 years old, has shared many happy memories with his new mom. She listed some of their favorite activities, which range from cuddling and cooking to playing in arcades and reading the bible.
To Joshua, Quiambao is “mommy” as seen in a Mother’s Day love letter where he thanked her for being a “great mother.” He adorably calls himself “son of celebrity” in his private Instagram account.
Quiambao revealed that she will begin homeschooling Joshua, meaning they will spend even more time together before welcoming a new member to the family. She joins celebrity moms Chesca Kramer and Rica Peralejo who recently chose to homeschool their children. /ra
