Kapamilya superstar Coco Martin, with his staggering net worth, now lives in a villa-like residence and owns luxurious cars.
But there was a time when he used to drive a tricycle so he could have an allowance to spend in school.
“Napakalaking part ng buhay ko ng pagmo-motor,” he said in his contract signing for a brand endorsement Saturday.
[Driving a motorbike has been a big part of my life.]
[As everyone knows, we were not rich. When I was in college, I really had to work hard. I would drive a tricycle so that I would have an allowance.]
So even now, whenever he gets a break from his busy schedule, he usually drives around in a motorbike o relax.
“Sobrang hilig ko po mag-motor,” he said.
[I like motobiking so much. When I’m not doing anything, or sometimes I would just like to relax, I would ride my motorbike around the village alone. When I have the time I would ride my motorbike with my friends.]
To this day, “FPJ’s: Ang Probinsyano,” where Martin has the leading role, has remained an overwhelming success.
With a top-rating series and block-buster movies, there is truly no stopping Martin’s rise to the top. /atm
