Taylor Swift slipped while in the middle of singing her hit track “Call It What You Want” during her “Reputation” tour concert on Saturday, July 22, at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Swift handled the accident like a pro, laughing it off with the backup dancer. The singer, wearing a sequined purple dress, then continued with the song like nothing happened.

One fan, Ashley King (@Ashzash), who had been following the tour, shared a video of the fall on Twitter. “I have never related to @taylorswift13 more than the moment she tripped and fell to the ground,” the fan wrote. “My queen. I love you so much.”

Fans were quick to point out that the twenty-eight-year-old singer looked cute despite the accident.

Some fans noted that Swift didn’t lose balance on her own — the backup dancer she was captured with accidentally tripped her.

Swift made history as the first female artist to play three consecutive shows (July 21 to 23) at the MetLife Stadium. Swift shared via Instagram that she experienced a “full rain show” during Sunday’s concert.

“Last night we all danced together for 2 hours in the pouring rain – who knows what the Jersey skies will bring us tonight but we’re *ready for it*,” wrote the 28-year-old singer.

This was not the first time Swift experienced a mishap during her “Reputation” tour.

While performing for the Philadelphia leg of her tour on July 14, the singer found herself stuck in mid-air while performing “Delicate.” Likewise, she was able to successfully handle the awkward situation.

“I’m pretty sure I’m stuck up here,” Swift noted while in the middle of her song. “It’s a really nice view though.”

“I feel like it’s really important to be honest with friends, so what you just saw was me going like straight up and down in a sparkly basket,” Swift said after she was lowered down. “It was supposed to take me to the other side of the stadium. So I’m just going to figure out what to do next. I’m somehow going to figure out how to get over there.” NVG
