Kylie Jenner is well on her way to becoming the “youngest self-made billionaire ever,” according to a Forbes report. The qualifier “self-made” has been under debate, though Forbes has said that it refers to anyone who “didn’t inherit the money.”
Jenner launched her makeup line Kylie Cosmetics in 2016, which has catapulted her to become the wealthiest Kardashian-Jenner despite being the youngest — she will turn 21 in August.
The makeup mogul is $100 million (P5.35 billion) shy of becoming the youngest billionaire, with some joking that they should raise money to help her earn the title.
“Skipping my child support payments to help this fierce female become an iconic billionaire!” said @palebirdy in jest.
Skipping my child support payments to help this fierce female become an iconic billionaire! I believe my daughters would support this if I were allowed contact with them!!!!

And as the Internet does, a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe has been launched to fulfill this milestone.
Online personality Josh Ostrovsky, known as The Fat Jew, created the page with the plea: “Kylie Jenner was on the cover of Forbes Magazine today for having a net worth of 900 million dollars, which is heartbreaking. I don’t want to live in a world where Kylie Jenner doesn’t have a billion dollars.”
As of writing, donations have reached $1,848 in four days. While most have dropped $5, some have given up to $100.
The movement has annoyed some netizens who have brought to light other advocacies where money can be better spent.
“People are donating $100 million dollars to make Kylie Jenner a billionaire, meanwhile Flint MI still doesn’t have clean drinking water. The stupidity of some people just blows my mind,” noted Murph (@pappabear53).

“The Kylie Jenner GoFundMe has reached $2,116 in two days. Yet it took me an entire year to raise $2000 to treat people in Ghana for malaria and I still didn’t reach my goal,” netizen Brittany White (@brittanyann210) lamented.

Still, there are opportunists. Some have opened GoFundMe pages so that they could receive the money themselves, such as one that’s titled, “Give me Kylie Jenner’s money.” JB
