Turned out the IVs’ exacting demands left HP scared and scarred for life.
It was so bad that HP ended up consulting a mental-health professional.
Hopefully, HP would be able to bounce back from this debilitating experience. After all, there will surely be kinder, gentler and more appreciative bosses out there.
Spirit breakers
It was not the first time that IVs got entangled in such a sticky situation.
Every time newcomers work with IVs, they emerge from the encounter with rather grim realizations.
IVs habitually break the spirit of every neophyte who is naïve enough to venture near their fiefdom.
The first time Self-styled Genius collaborated with IVs was a catastrophe, as well. IVs mangled SG’s massive ego beyond recognition.
Still, SG survived and managed to reunite with IVs in other projects.
Echo chamber
Not a few observers got turned off by the immature way Scandalous Lass and Sassy Interloper had handled a minor controversy.
It hardly came as a surprise that SI would be the first to aid SL when the sh*t hit the fan, but why should childish behavior be tolerated?
An insider reports that SI and SL tend to bring out the worst in each other.
That’s what happens when you are trapped in an echo chamber. You can only hear each other’s opinions and no one else’s.
Researcher of the year

RH would befriend the guy’s current partner. Once they are extra chummy, RH would ask about the man’s favorites: food, perfume, music, movies, hobbies…
