LOOK: Xian Lim celebrates birthday with Kim Chiu, pets black panther

Xian Lim whose birthday is today, July 12, held a celebration yesterday with actress Kim Chiu alongside his basketball team, Mandaluyong El Tigre, at Corinthian Gardens Clubhouse. The rumored couple appeared to have a good time petting a black panther on a leash.
Lim shared via Instagram a photo of him next to the black panther yesterday, June 11.
“Wakanda forever,” wrote the actor, quoting the famous line from Marvel’s “Black Panther”.

Chiu also uploaded a video, presumably taken by Lim, of her petting the big cat.
“What are you doing?,” Lim whose voice can be heard in the video, asked Chiu. “Wala lang… Wala to, wala to guys (Nothing… This is nothing, this is nothing guys),” the actress said with a smile while stroking the black panther.
“It’s a video,” noted Lim. Chiu replied saying, “Wala po ‘to, wala po ‘to, di ba kuya?“ (This is nothing, this is nothing, right?)
“Kiss mo, kiss mo (Kiss it, kiss it),” pushed Lim, teasing Chiu. The actress made quirky poses behind the big cat with Lim asking her to kiss the black panther on its forehead.
“Ayoko! (I don’t want to!),” was the immediate reply of the giggling Chiu. She then went to stroke the head of the black panther whose eyes were closed, as if it was sleeping.

Lim, who has recently signed with El Tigre, Mandaluyong City’s official team to the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL), shared via Instagram a video of the team singing for him the Happy Birthday song yesterday.

Earlier today, Chiu greeted Lim with a heartfelt Instagram post. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the person who always brings out the best in me, always makes me believe that I can do things that [I’m] afraid of doing, always makes me laugh so hard, for riding with all my craziness (esp riding rollercoasters that you dont really like),” wrote the actress.
“My official travel photographer, my sponge when [I’m] feeling down. thank you for being you!,” added Chiu. “Wishing you nothing but the best in everything you do! [K]now that [I’m] always always here for you enjoy the rest of the day!”

Xian Lim and Kim Chiu’s “special relationship” has been hugely speculated upon by their fans. The rumored couple, however, has yet to give an official statement on the status of their relationship. JB
