Prophets of Rage drop new track ‘Heart Afire’
The supergroup Prophets of Rage have released a new track called “Heart Afire” soon after announcing they have a new album on the way.
In an interview with KaaosTV ahead of a June 30 show in Finland, band members Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk revealed they had already finished a 13-song album, and that a first taste of it was soon to drop.
Over the weekend, the band (which includes Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, Commerford and Wilk, Public Enemy’s Chuck D and DJ Lord, and Cypress Hill’s B-Real) delivered the goods with the release of “Hearts Afire”.
Prophets of Rage released their debut, self-titled album in 2017.
Article continues after this advertisementThe band is set to play several additional tour dates throughout Europe, finishing up with a show at Twickenham Stadium in London on July 15. From there, they head to North America, where they’ll play a string of shows into early September for the “End of the World” tour with Avenged Sevenfold. JB
