Ma cherie amie Mic Cazzola and my amigo James Yap are going gaga over their baby girl, Michelle Francesca. The fab couple’s son, MJ, is turning 2 next month.
Their daughter seems to be a lucky charm because James’ basketball team in the PBA (Rain or Shine) is on top of the standings in the ongoing Commissioner’s Cup.
Just like when MJ was newly born, Mic won’t post any full face shots of Michelle on social media yet. She and James want to savor the joys of parenthood privately, for now.
In due time, Mic will share pictures of their princess.
Hot mama
I’m grateful to Mic for granting me her first interview after she gave birth on June 27.

Here’s my chat with Mic :
How is MJ reacting to his baby sister? He’s excited. He’s curious about her. So far, no signs of jealousy.
He likes the company of other kids so, hopefully, he will enjoy his sister.
Now that you have two kids, how will you and James avoid playing favorites? It’s different because we have a boy and a girl so, inevitably, we will treat them differently. But we will do our best not to play favorites.
Lessons
What are some of your “first-time motherhood” lessons that you will apply the second time around? Breastfeeding is hard, and it’s underestimated by many.
I already know how to deal with the pain, and to be more patient while breastfeeding.
How do you and James resolve misunderstandings? After many years together, we’ve learned to leave each other alone when we don’t agree on something.
Then, we wait when we aren’t angry anymore and talk it out.
What are your dreams and that of James’ for your kids? May they find their passion and pursue it.
What is James’ take on the Gilas-Boomers brawl? He doesn’t want to judge since he was not there. He said it’s hard to comment because he doesn’t know what happened prior to the incident.
